Two new GPT-6 models for everyday work
We have added GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna to Ayeto. OpenAI trained both with methods similar to GPT-6 Astra, bringing its advances in professional work, factual accuracy, coding and computer use to faster and more affordable models. Both cost half as much as their GPT-5.6 predecessors.
OpenAI also says the new models write more clearly: less jargon, fewer low-value details and slightly shorter answers without losing substance.
GPT-6 Sol: the workhorse for demanding tasks
GPT-6 Sol is designed for complex work: coding, analysis, research and agentic workflows. According to OpenAI, it makes about half as many factual mistakes as GPT-5.6 Sol, reaching Astra-level reliability at a much lower cost.
It offers a context window of 1,050,000 tokens, up to 128,000 output tokens, text and image input and reasoning effort from none to max.

GPT-6 Luna: fast and inexpensive
GPT-6 Luna is the lightest and lowest-cost model in the GPT-6 family. It is built for high-volume tasks with a clear goal: summarising documents, extracting information, classifying, translating or answering quick questions. It shares Sol's large context window and also understands images.

Sol is slightly ahead overall and clearly better in factuality, automation and terminal work, at roughly half the cost per task. It is not better everywhere: on GDPval, which measures professional deliverables, GPT-5.6 Sol still scored higher.
Which one to choose in Ayeto

- GPT-6 Sol (High) is for tasks where precision matters more than speed, such as complex debugging or detailed analyses.

How the cost compares
Both models cost half as much as their GPT-5.6 counterparts, and Luna costs about one-twentieth of Sol per token. That makes Luna a natural fit for work where a single request is simple but there are thousands of them.
